SOLIPSISM - 2010 | Compositions
- Prelude - Brain In A Vat And Homochronous Crests - 18.08
- In Professor's Lab - 33.00

Twentieth and final “Liqui Syn Dementia” collection "Solipsism" can be counted as one of the most complex compositions within Pazhutan’s works because of extreme use of automation on many parameters, chord progressions that use pitch intervals smaller than a semitone, digitally programmed noise soundscapes, utilization of non-twelve-tone serialism, white noise manipulation, cluster control, granular and various other methods of audio synthesis. This work was first written in 2006, and at that time, due to its highly complex nature, was technically too early. It remained unfinished outside of Liqui Syn Dementia project until 2010. In 2014, Pazhutan revised the composition again and after many hours of studio work this version of “In Professor’s Lab” became ready for free publish thru Ozky e-sound netlabel. The second movement consists of 6 different sections morphing into each other in within more than 30 minutes. At first there are synthesized chords superimposed over each other, reaching the climax with the appearance of main theme. This then moves to a deep space of serial pitches created on Max MSP which prepares the listener for a flood of white noise which covers every other sonic material. After the white noise becomes paler the piece reaches the deepest part of the trip. The texture shifts slowly to an emotionally aesthethic structure of introspection and a conclusion which uses all the sonic material of this movement in its texture. From minute twenty six, the coming down of the piece begins and the listener lands smoothly on perfect awakeness within around four minutes. A new version of second movement from the Liqui Syn Dementia album Solipsism is now available for free download from Ozky E-Sound Netlabel: http://www.ozkyesound.altervista.org/Releases.html
